Is the Polar bear afraid, do they feel fear. Do they know their world is changing. Do they know it more than we do?

They are hard wired to be accustomed to seasons, fish migrations. Do they know by the feel of the water and the evaporating footholds. Do they feel the differences and fear or wonder? Do they think their existence is threatened. Do they nurse the pang of anxiety when the mind isn’t in use, wondering what the future will be like for their cubs?  Does the animal, the predator especially at the poles, does it know winter is leaving. Are they working on a plan: seek refuge more towards the roof of the world or adapt…
