Good Rule of Thumbe

It was Wonder which flew
up all through the air.
Pink Waves rose so high
and roared like a bear.

Down from the sky,
warm, violet rain trickled.
Today over plains,
the plaid grass tickled.

And even clouds found time
away from their naps
to rear up huge paws
for big fluffy claps.

A day of all days!
Early the morn’,
a tiny Queen fairy
was magically born.

Rubbing her peepers,
smoothing her hair,
life seemed enchanting,
All In It seemed fair.

Here are the words
that she first spoke
by a hill of silk pudding
where she first awoke:

Good Morning,
BIG HAPPY YOU.
This must be the Land
I’ve been born to.”

The 9 zillion fairies
of the Land of Thumbe Proper                                                                                                                                                      were colored in joy                                                                                                                                                                               – sky blue to rust copper.
