you grow mightily
unleashed on your dreams
picking, ducking, jiving
letting go –
regard for authority
for the way it is normally

onward, after primal ways,
a latent map,
obeying just the urge to try anything
not static, fixed, rigid – not unhungry
or content.

which brings over the other hand:
that wants to stay,
be certain of that thing
resigned delightful                                                                                                                                  in the way it normally is

-in the way it is tonight
the quiet of our home
not pacing, or purging,
or missing a passing fancy
not needing to hide

resigned, delightful

in the prairies of now, growing here
